Our poster - ideas
by analysing other posters, i have gained a few rough ideas of what our poster can look like.
i the posters that i analysed i noticed that a lot of things were being used:
mist - this was used in almost all teh posters
the main colours that were used were mainly White, Black and Red
there was a lot of focus to the centre of teh posters, usually done by a different colour around the edges of the posters.
the title of the film in almost all the posters is at the bottom, and the tag line either at the top or in the middle of the poster.
some of the images that are used in the posters are of the main characters.
this has given me a lot of knowledge, help and ideas for our posters.

Analysing horror posters
i have analysed a lot horror posters, i have done this by using the Internet to find the posters. this has helped to see conventions of horror posters, the colours that are used, the type of images and the text, if the font is simple or not? some of the posters that i have analysed are:
- The Exorcist
- Final Destination
- Saw (all of them)
- Haunting in Connecticut
i also analysed a lot of magazine front covers, for example front covers of Empire magazines to see if there was any link or some kind of signature picture that they use to make their magazine stand out or the way it is.
